Nokia's latest smartphone is accepting pre-orders on Amazon, with the added bonus of free delivery. The Lumia 720 was confirmed at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in February along with the Lumia 520. While prices and specific release dates have not been set in the U.S., the United Kingdom is prepping for the Windows Phone 8 smartphone.
Amazon is currently accepting pre-orders of the Lumia 720; however, it is only applicable for residents in the U.K. The Sim-free Lumia 720 is priced at £382.97, which converts to approximately $580.54 U.S. dollars. The Lumia 720 is also attached with free delivery. It is important to note that Amazon posted that the item is due to be released on April 8, but further noted that the release dates are subject to change.
The U.K retailer Clove has also provided their price for the Lumia 720. According to Clove, the price of the Lumia 720 is £249.99 but can go to £299.99 with the U.K's value added tax (VAT). The Lumia 720 will be available in black only at Clover.
The news of the Lumia 720 prices come as the smartphone launched in India. As Latinos Post reported, Nokia India presented the latest device with an expected release date set for mid-April.
The Lumia 720's specs include a 4.3-inch screen size with a pixel resolution of 800x400 and IPS ClearBlack display, 8GB for internal storage with 512MB of RAM, rear-facing camera with 6.7-megapixels at 2,848x2,144 pixels, 2,000mAh, and NFC.
