As more and more developers and publishers get their hands on the PlayStation 4, the next-gen system gets praised by members of the industry. Many people have come forward and stated their approval of the new system, noting it's power and flexibility. Now, even more industry veterans are coming forward to state their approval of the PlayStation 4.

Irrational Games co-founder and Bioshock creator Ken Levine mentions to Gamespot that the PC-style architecture for the hard drive makes designing games easier for the next-gen system.

"I love the fact that Sony's architecture is now much more aligned with the architecture of the PCs and[...] I can't say about the Xbox, but I presume they're continuing in that direction...That will make life a lot better for gamers because you won't have that sort of diversification of resources in the same way that you had to do to support the differences in the (current-generation platforms)..."

Toshihiro Nagoshi, SEGA's chief communications officer, is quoted in Kotaku about the powerful specs that the PlayStation 4 boasts, noting that the power the system has would have been unreal to past developers.

"I genuinely felt that the specs, namely the high image quality, that enable the development of high quality products, are amazing. I've been in this field for 23 years, and back in the past, the current specs would have been considered a fantasy."

Clearly, The PlayStation 4 has all the right requirements to motivate designers to create new and interesting games for the system.   Kazuki Morishita, president and CEO of Gung Ho Online Entertainment, also speaking to Kotaku, sums of the overall impression that people have been getting about the PlayStation 4.

"It's a technological combination worthy of the title of 'Next Gen.' I think it's a piece of hardware that will maximize its technology 'without limitation' to allow us to focus on making the most enjoyable games."

The PlayStation 4 has no set release date yet, but the system is expected to come out before the holidays. Further updates on the system will surely be available before then, as more developers announce games for the system.
