T-Mobile confirmed the U.S. release date for the BlackBerry Z10 will be Mar. 26, in a tweet on Wednesday responding to a customer's question.

"@IAmAmirHasan A date has already been announced. March 26th... ^KC," T-Mobile USA tweeted.

The company seems to think this was old news, but the latest speculation pegged the T-Mobile Z10 general public debut for Mar. 28, so this is a bit of good news for impatient T-Mobile customers.

T-Mo's business customers already got their hands on the phone last week, and AT&T customers get them tomorrow. Verizon's release is scheduled for the 28th, so at least T-Mobile won't be the last.

As for Sprint, the company has previously said it wouldn't carry the Z10 at all, opting instead to wait for the QWERTY keyboard-enabled BlackBerry Q10, due out in the next few months. But recent rumors say Sprint could be working on a "version 2.0" of the Z10 that will debut later this year.

A release on the 26th also makes sense, since T-Mobile is hosting a media event to unveil something big, aside from the Z10. It's likely the introduction of their contract-free calling plans, or the introduction of their LTE service (which the Z10 can take advantage of). It could also be an announcement that they'll finally start carrying iPhones, which could dampen enthusiasm for new Z10s. We'll be at the event to let you know firsthand.

The BlackBerry Z10 features a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 plus processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 4.2-inch 1280x768 display, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video, 16 GB of internal storage, an SD card slot and runs the newly revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system.
