On March 22, Antoine Fuqua's film "Olympus Has Fallen" will be released nationwide.

The film starring, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart and Gerard Butler, tells the story of a disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning who finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack. Using his inside knowledge, Banning works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.

The film premiered to mixed reviews and currently has 58 percent aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes. Todd McCarthy of the Hollywood Reporter stated "Generates a fair amount of tension and produces the kind of nationalistic outrage that rock-ribbed Americans will feel in their guts."

The Village Voice also enjoyed it stating "Pretty ridiculously entertaining-or at least entertainingly ridiculous-for long stretches, dulled only by the realization that there are many parts of the country where this will play as less than total farce."

Emanuel Levy gave the film a B and stated "Fuqua has made a mean, tense (often silly), gung-ho thriller-actioner that's more entertaining than his former generic efforts."

However Coming Soon was not as positive giving the film A 5.5 out of 10. They stated "A better Die Hard movie than the most recent Die Hard, but it's hard to quantify its entertainment value due to how ridiculous the whole thing comes across."

The Examiner was also negative stating "Take away its swift kicks, severe stabbings, big explosions, and gory headshots and Olympus Has Fallen is just another cookie cutter action film with stale writing."

Freeman last starred in "The Dark Knight Rises" alongside Christian Bale, Marion Cotillard, Tim Hardy and Gary Oldman. He next stars in "Oblivion" with Tom Cruise. Butler was last seen in "Movie 43" and Playing for Keeps." He next voices "How to Train Your Dragon 2." Eckhart last starred in "The Rum Diary" and will next be seen in "I, Frankenstein."

FilmDistrict will release "Olympus Has Fallen" in 3,000 theaters and is rated R for strong violence and language throughout
