Already, the first NCAA teams have been sent home while the Georgia dreams of others continue in March.

The next batch of NCAA Tournament first round contenders will be taking their shot at the NCAA title Wednesday night as the first round of March Madness continues.

LIU Blackbirds vs. James Madison Dukes

No.16-ranked LIU Brooklyn (20-13) may have a slight edge against James Madison (20-14) heading into their Wednesday match-up as the Dukes prepare to start without their best player for the first half of the game.

Goins, who leads the Dukes in scoring (12.7) and rebounding (7.4), was suspended Monday following his arrest this past weekend on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing justice.

However, Dukes coach Matt Brady says that his team is ready to play without the 6'6" Goins, the detraction of whom will make the Dukes into a smaller lineup.

They will have to be against the Blackbirds, who have won 9 of their last 11 games heading into Wednesday's match-up, and are led by senior forward Jamal Olasewere, who is averaging 18.9 points and 8.5 rebounds for LIU Brooklyn this season.

TV Schedule, Live Stream

The game will air 6:40 p.m. Wednesday on TruTv. Live stream of the game can be seen on the NCAA's web site.

La Salle Explorers vs. Boise State Broncos

La Salle, celebrating its first NCAA tournament berth in 21 years, has been rolling along since February, having won seven of their last 10 games.

They'll be led on Wednesday by senior guard Ramon Galloway, who has been on a tear for the Explorers this season with 17.0 points this season.

The Broncos, meanwhile, have won five of their last seven games heading into Wednesday's match-up. With the Broncos having made their first-ever tournament in the school's history, Boise State will be led by leading scorer and sophomore guard Anthony Drmic (17.3 points) and physical junior forward Ryan Watkins (team leader with 6.8 rebounds) .

Both teams employ a four-guard offense, which should make for an interesting, fast-paced game that will likely be determined by which team can respond better in transition defense.

TV Schedule, Live Stream

The game will air 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on TruTv. Live stream of the game can be seen on the NCAA's web site.
