"Spring Breakers" director Harmony Korine is set to direct his next film.

Korine will team up with producer John Lesher's Le Grisbi Productions and DCM Productions and has made the deal for the film. The title and the log line have been kept under wraps but according to Deadline, the film involves a multi-generational family of criminals in the South.

The film will also be produced by "Spring Breakers" producer Charles-Marie Anthonioz.

Korine is also planning a film with Megan Ellison, of AnnaPurna who purchased "Breakers" at the Toronto Film Festival. The director is on the verge of his breakout film with "Breakers" after scoring a $270,000 opening weekend. The film starring James Franco, Vaness Hudgens, Selena Goimez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine is set to open nationwide.

Korine rose to fame after writing the controversial script to Larry Clark's NC-17 rated film "Kids." He made his directional debut with "Gummo" and followed it up with "Mister Lonely" which starred Diego Luna and Samantha Morton. He then directed "Trash Humpers" in which he also acted.

Lesher last produced "End of Watch" starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and Michael Pena. He also produced the upcoming "Blood Ties" directed by Guillaume Canet. The film stars Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Billy Crudup, and Clive Owen. He is preparing Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's "Birdman" starring Naomi Watts, Edward Norton, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Stone and Michael Keaton.

Anthonioz last produced "Wrong" and "The Fourth Dimension." He has worked with Korine on his past three films.

"Spring Breakers" opens in 1,000 theaters on March 22.
