A little more than two weeks ago, Sprint and T-Mobile announced the release of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to U.S. consumers for a June 21st date. AT&T announced similarly.

However, due to an overwhelming demand for the devices both the T-Mobile, Sprint were forced to delay partially while an official AT&T announcement is awaited for the release date.

Release Date Updates:

T-Mobile
Samsung Galaxy S3s are available as scheduled on T-Mobile stores today. However markets outside of the select cities of Los Angeles, Houston, New York, and San Francisco will have to wait for a later June 29 delivery date according to the carrier.

The most interesting development of the day however is related to T-Mobile's recent pricing of the device posted on the company's website.

According to Cnet.com, T-Mobile is charging customers $279.99 for the 16 GB model of the smartphone. That price already includes a $50 rebate for customers. The 32 GB version is selling for $329.99 after the rebate. Both prices include standard two-year contracts.

T-Mobile has not mentioned being out of stock on the product, and it is possible that the increased price may be the result of the company taking advantage of the demand and lack of supply from its competitors.

AT&T
AT&T has not released the phone yet in New York at least, according to TheDroidGuy.com who sent personnel to local stores to verify the release. The website was "confidently told that the smartphone would be available in stores on June 28th."

AT&T is still receiving pre-orders on its website. AT&T is offering the 16 GB version for $199.99.

Sprint
While Sprint is supposed to be delivering the phone today, it has indicated that the 32GB models could be delayed another week since they posted that they are currently out of inventory.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the patience of our customers as we work through this minor delay in availability," Sprint stated on their blog forum.

The carrier is optimistic the 16GB smartphones will be delivered today.

Sprint is offering $199.99 for the 16 GB and asking for $249.99 for the 32 GB version.

Verizon
Verizon will be latest to the party as their versions are not set for release until July 10. They are pricing the 16GB version at $199.99 and the 32 GB flavor for $249.99.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 packs a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display and has 16/32GB of internal storage and with a microSD card can support up to 64GB. Samsung will also be launching a 64GB variant of Galaxy S3 later this year. The Galaxy S3 also runs on Android 4.0 and will include software features like S Voice, Pop-up Play, Smart Eye tracking, Burst shoot camera mode and S Beam. It has 8-megapixel camera at the back that can record fullHD 1080p videos.

The phone was recently bashed by FoxConn CEO Terry Gou who stated that the iPhone 5 would put it to shame. Apple and Samsung has been in fierce competition recently with Apple attempting to ban the Galaxy S3 from US release. A judge however, decided not to include the product in the case and the phone will be able to launch as expected.
