PS4 And Xbox 720 Release Date Rumors: Both Systems To Be Released by November?

Assassin's Creed 4:Black Flag director Jean Guesdon may have let slip a giant piece of news: when the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 could be available.

When asked in an interview with Outside Xbox (video below) about if their would be a delay between the current generation versions of the game and the next-gen versions, Guesdon replied with a simple "same ship."

This implies that the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, and PlayStation 4 (the game has not yet been confirmed for the next Xbox) will all be available at the same time. This means that Sony would be releasing their next-gen system before the game's release date of October 29.

While the game has not yet been confirmed for the newest Xbox, as Microsoft has yet to officially confirm that it exists, it would make sense for the game to appear on the new system, as the series is on the current Xbox 360.

Sony has said repeatedly that they planned on releasing the PlayStation 4 before the holiday season, so the end of October would make sense, as the company can have a giant release, and take advantage of the Black Friday sales craze.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has remained tight lipped about their next-gen system, but the company is expected to reveal the console in April. That would only give about six months between the official announcement and the release of Assassin's Creed 4:Black Flag.

Could have this just been a slip of the tongue from Guesdon? Or did he accidentally let slip one of the biggest pieces of news of the year? Until Sony and Microsoft confirm anything, this is still just a rumor.
