Arsenal will try to salvage its season when it takes on Bayern Munich.

Arsenal was embarrassed at home 3-1 a few weeks ago in the first leg and must score three or more goals to move on to the quarterfinals.

"It is difficult we know that, but it is not impossible," says Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. "The only way to make it possible is to have a real go - that's what we'll do. Turning up expecting to go out would be absolutely unacceptable for us."

Arsenal has had a dreadful season, but Wenger believes that the team has enough experience to succeed. "We have big experience in the Champions League and in Europe we have basically won everywhere and that means we have the right to believe," added Wenger. "I am convinced that if this team can find a big game you will see a completely different animal...This season we have fought to find that in the big games and we have another opportunity tomorrow night. I hope the team takes this chance.

"I have a great respect for this team and its attitude and they have not been rewarded yet. It is important for the end to our season that we do it tomorrow."

Bayern Munich has been considered one of the top teams in the world and has looked invincible all season long. However, Coach Jupp Heynckes wants his team to remain cautious.  "We played excellent in the first leg. I know by experience you have to give 100% all the time in this competition," Heynckes said. "This is the Champions League, and Arsenal is not just any club. I know and respect [Arsene] Wenger. And I know, Arsenal will try everything."

A year ago, Arsenal fell 4-0 to Milan in the first leg, but managed a 3-0 comeback in the second. Despite being eliminated, this experience could help motivate the Gunners against Munich.

Predictions: Munich wins 3-0.
