On March 15th "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" will debut in theaters nationwide.

The film starring, Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, and Steve Buscemi, tells the story of a street magician whose  stunt begins to make his show look stale. As a result, superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone and Anton Marvelton look to salvage on his act and their friendship by staging their own daring stunt.

The film opened at SXSW to mixed reviews. Coming Soon stated, "Not particularly funny or clever, it often hits the lows of some of the worst Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell character comedies."

Hit flix gave the film a C and said 'Wonderstone ends up being an uneven experience, a movie that never quite clicks on a narrative level even as it offers up some sporadic laughs from a talented cast."

ScreenCrush was not receptive stating "It's a little weird that a movie about the dangers of doing something so long that it becomes rote and stale is, at times, rote and stale."

However Film.com enjoyed the movie stating "One-off gags and throwaway lines muffle the creaks of a well-worn plot."

Cole Smithey also enjoyed it giving it a B. He stated "You can't have a comedy about magic without gimmicks, and 'Burt Wonderstone' has plenty. It also has panache."

TV director Don Scardino makes his film debut with "Wonderstone." The director is known for his work on "30 Rock" and "2 Broke Girls." Carell was last seen in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" with Keira Knightley and "Hope Springs" with Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones. He will next appear in "The  Way Way Back and "FoxCatcher." Carrey last starred in "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and is set to appear on "Kick Ass 2." Buscemi is currently starring in "Board Walk Empire and will next voice Randall Boggs in "Monsters University."

The film also stars Olivia Wilde, James Gandolfini, and Alan Arkin. Distributed by Warner Bros, Wonderstone is rated PG-13 for sexual content, dangerous stunts, a drug-related incident and language.
