Today, viral videos are a huge component of our entertainment and a great way to get attention. Perhaps this is why Mexican singer Thalia wants to make one of her own.

If your first thought is a "Harlem Shake" video, let us reassure you that it won't be happening, at least not any time soon. Instead, the singer wants to make a "Te Perdiste Mi Amor" viral video and for that she is calling out to all her fans.

The diva is hosting the "Dance to the Rhythm of 'Te Perdiste Mi Amor'" contest where she is asking fans to a record a dance video to the new single she made together with the bachatero Prince Royce.

Contestants should record a clip no longer than three minutes in which they dance with a partner to the song. The initial deadline to enter was this past Sunday, but yesterday the singer announced on her social media sites that the deadline would be extended to Thursday.

After the contest closes the singer will select 10 finalists who will all be part of her viral video, but this is not the main prize.

Once Thalia chooses the 10 videos she will post them on her Facebook page and ask her fans to vote for the best. The video that receives the most likes by this Sunday will be the winner.

The front runner will receive the rose that Thalia used with the Dominican singer during their unforgettable Premios Lo Nuestro 2013 performance, among other surprise gifts.

If you missed the show, Prince Royce puts the rose in between himself and Thalia and both kiss it at the same time. According to the flyer of the contest, Thalia has kept the rose inside her diary to keep it safe.
