Fans are capitalizing on the upcoming sixth generation Pokémon games ahead of its October release date by selling unofficial merchandise online.

On one hand, "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" games are already up for pre-orders from retailers GameStop, Amazon, and Walmart. Amazon and GameStop are accepting pre-orders for $39.99 while Walmart is giving customers the opportunity to save a staggering three cents. The Walmart price is $39.96.

On the other, fans are being creative with shirts, key chains, phone accessories, pins, and hats.

Key chains of the three new starter Pokémon Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie were made and are available in their chibi form drawn by DeviantArt member RaineLi. The costs start at $12 by TheMagesEmporium on Etsy. Shipping fees vary for customers living in the United States. and "Everywhere Else."

The new starters are also featured in pin form. A set of three is available for purchase for $3.49 on Bonanza.

In time for Easter, the peep form of the Pokémon starters is available by Talia Consoli of Etsy. The cellphone charms cost $10, each.

The new Eevee evolution Sylveon is also seeing some action in the form of a necklace pendant. Courtesy of Heather Bishop, the hand cut pendant is affixed to a magnifying glass dome but is not waterproof. The price for Sylveon pendant is $8.50, prices increase based on shipping locations.

An iPhone 5 case is available as well on Red Bubble featuring the "X" and "Y" letters of the sixth generation games. The iPhone 5 case price tag is $38.75 without the additional shipping costs.

Red Bubble is also offering a Sylveon shirt courtesy of Yuririi. Priced at $21.54, the Sylveon shirt is available in white, blue, and pink colors.

Perhaps one of the most unique offerings is a Fennekin plush hat by Kristin Moutrey on Etsy. The plush hat features the coloring and ears of the new fire starter and is handmade with anti-pill fleece. The Fennekin hat is available for $24.99.
