Hot off the heels of the potential leak concerning the newest Xbox's CPU, it appears that the newest system could be shown off behind closed doors this week, according to a reports floating around the technosphere.

Microsoft has several presentations set up this week during the company's Start FYI 14 event that involve the Xbox. While the Xbox 360 is listed in one conference, several others are labeled as "Xbox Games," "Xbox Deep Dive," and "Xbox Gold." It should be noted that Xbox Gold is one of the rumored names for the next-gen Xbox, along with the Xbox 720. Many other different types of presentations will also happen during the event. In attendance at the event will be Microsoft employees and business partners.

While it is impossible to know for sure what the company will discuss at these conferences, it would be equally impossible for the company to not mention the system, especially if it is to be officially revealed to the public in April and Sony has already kickstarted the arms race. Microsoft has yet to release any official information about the system yet, and it is the last next-gen console system that needs to be revealed.

Much speculation about the system is floating around, including rumors of 24/7-required Internet connectivity and the system blocking used games from being able to run on the system. It remains to be seen if these rumors are true, but the wait could be over sooner rather than later for discovering the secrets of the Xbox 720/Gold/ Durango. We will continue to watch this story as the conference begins and information is potentially revealed.

The FYI 14 event starts today and runs through Thursday, March 7 in Seattle.
