With the bright lights of Wrestlemania approaching, could AJ Lee be getting the short end of the stick?

Dolph Ziggler has been projected to finally make his move on the big stage during Wrestlemania next month. The current Money in the Bank winner is expected to shock the crowd with a moment that could steal the show and finally get to wear the gold. Ziggler fans have lamented that his persona, mic skills and overall talent have taken a back seat for too long. One question remains:

What about AJ?

The bubbly, uber-sexy A.J. was easily one of the most talked about superstars in 2012. Between her relationship issues with John Cena, Kane, Daniel Bryan and C.M. Punk, it seems like A.J.'s star (and list of beaus) grew by the week. Last year, she was promoted to Raw General Manager and it was easily seen that the 5-foot-2 firecracker could do no wrong.

So why is she delegated to being a manager of Ziggler leading into Wrestlemania?

That's a bit of a headscratcher. Although it was nice to see finally divorce himself from arguably WWE's #1 heel, Vickie Guerrero (before you say I'm nuts, listen to the heat she gets when she says "Excuse me!"), Ziggler should be trying to establish his own identity instead of needing AJ as an acessory, or even worse, a crutch.

Wrestlemania is a time where stars shine and legends are made. By the time it's over, the moments remind you why it's great. After the 2012 that AJ had, she deserves her own Wrestlemania moment. She's being absolutely wasted as a manager/valet. Dolph doesn't need that, especially with Big E. Langston by his side.

WWE should be using AJ in her own angle with something innovative like...I don't know, trying to revive a Divas division that's becoming less relevant with every PPV. AJ surpassed the label "diva" in 2012 while mesmerizing the audience with her looks and "crazy chick" antics that kept the audience waiting to see what she would pull next.  Hopefully, the WWE doesn't gloss over AJ's talent and potential in order to spotlight another.

What role would you have AJ fill for Wrestlemania?
