Of the three new starter Pokémon, the least favorite appears to be the Water Pokémon.
Back on Jan. 8, Nintendo Global President Satoru Iwata presented a Pokémon Direct presentation detailing the history the Pokémon franchise has had in the video game industry, leading to the trailer and debut of the three new starter Pokémon for "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y."
The three starters are the grass Pokémon Chespin, the fire Pokémon Fennekin, and the water Pokémon Froakie.
Latinos Post conducted an unscientific poll asking readers on their least favorite starter so far ahead of the October release date. The poll was done over a week after Latinos Post asked readers on their favorite starter.
The favorite starter poll results showed Fennekin on top with 50.73 percent.
Did Fennekin also make it as the least favorite?
The least favorite starter Pokémon is Froakie. The new water Pokémon received 48.75 percent of the vote.
The grass Pokémon Chespin was the second least favorite with 29.07 percent of the poll while Fennekin secured the least number of votes with 22.17 percent.
Fans shared their thoughts on the new starters.
"I'm honestly not sure about these starters. I really like Chespin, but I'm concerned about his evolutions. Froakie looks pretty cool, but again I'll have to see the evolutions. I'm personally not a fan of Fennekin at all, but I think his evolutions will be pretty cool," wrote Ric.
Alex wrote, "I hope the evolution for Froakie is going to be the best looking one so it could make up for its first form."
"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be available in October, but pre-orders are being accepted now through multiple retailers.
