The Columbus Blue Jackets will look to get out of NHL cellar when they host the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night.

The Jackets are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks despite outshooting them 28 to 27. "Our goaltender played really well for us and we played a good game, [but] the power play was not good enough," Columbus forward Derek Brassard said. "When you have six or seven chances and you lose a game 1-0, it was obviously not good enough. The execution was not good."

Despite the loss, Coach Todd Richards has found some positives. "You look at this road trip that we're on, six games, other than the Phoenix game ... they were all one-goal games," Richards said. "We're giving up maybe two goals a game, maybe three goals a game, but we can't generate anything and we can't finish right now in the offensive zone."

Meanwhile the Dallas Stars are coming off a heartbreaking 5-4 overtime loss to the Nashville Predators. The Stars held a 4-3 lead after 40 minutes but gave up two straight to Nashville. Matt Fraser, Reilly Smith, Vernon Fiddler, and Loui Eriksson were the goal scorers for Dallas. Cristopher Nilstorp made 26 goals on 31 shots in the loss.

The two teams met back on Jan. 28 when Columbus managed a 2-1 win with goals from Vinny Prospal and Derek Dorsett.

Prediction: Dallas wins this game 5-3.
