The debut of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the Detroit auto show last month already has the mouths of car enthusiasts watering with its stunning new design and impressive performance specs.

But imagine if you could make this speedy little devil of a car even faster?

Hennessey Performance announced that they are working on a turbo kit for the new Vette that can produce anywhere from 700 to 1,000 hp.

The 2014 Stingray already comes stock with an engine that pumps 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.

And Hennessey also said that they're tuning kit will be available on both the coupe and convertible versions of the new Vette but has not released an estimated price for their kit.

The topless rendition of the 2014 Corvette is expected to make its debut at the Geneva auto show next month.

As far as other aftermarket features go, an Italian company is working on the development of a round taillight kit for the new Vette.

There has been some criticism coming from Vette purists who believe that the new squarish design of the taillights stray too far away from the spirit of the Corvette.

To solve this issue, Corvette Italia has designed a kit that is an exact replica of the lenses from the sixth generation.

The taillight kit is expected to cost $2,800 and includes everything that is needed for installation.
