The all-new 2014 Kia Forte has undergone a complete automotive makeover with its redesigned styling, new trim options and overhauled powertrain.

And with all the trappings that come along with the new Forte, the compact sedan is set to go head-to-head with the Honda Civic and Ford Focus.

The 2014 Kia Forte also boasts a revamped infotainment system and the base model is outfitted with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with horsepower rated at 148, while the EX model is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 173 horsepower and a six-speed electronically controlled Sportmatic Overdrive transmission.

But that's not all that the new Forte has to offer.

The new powertrain is also complemented by a more sleek design as compared to its predecessor that gives the new Forte a more aggressive and sportier road presence.

LED headlights and smooth lines that sweep across the sedan produce a sophisticated design to the new Forte.

And 17-inch sport wheels on the EX model paired with improved handling thanks to the addition of a lower, wider and longer chassis, make Kia's new sporty Forte a snappy little car.

The 2014 Forte also features power folding outside mirrors, sunroof on some trim levels, Bluetooth with streaming audio, rear-camera display and push-to-start with smart key functionality.

Available heated front seats and rear seat cushion, heated steering wheel, 10-way adjustable driver's seat with memory and dual-zone climate control are just some of the new top-level features available on the 2014 Forte.

Expect the Kia 2014 Forte to go on sale this spring with pricing estimated to start at $16,000.
