The Kellogg Company has issued a recall for their Special K Red Berries Cereal due to the possibility that the product may contain fragments of glass, according to the recall notice issued on the company's website.
"We have initiated a voluntary recall of three sizes of Kellogg's Special K Red Berries cereal packages due to the possible presence of glass fragments," the statement read.
"Kellogg Company has taken this precautionary action due to the possible presence of glass fragments. There have been no reports of any injuries associated with this product."
The popular breakfast brand urges consumers to check any packages of the recalled product to see if they match any of the issued warnings for specific UPC codes.

-11.2-ounce package with UPC Code 38000 59923

-22.4-ounce twin pack with UPC Code 38000 78356

The Kellogg Company warns anyone in possession of the affected food product to not eat it and to contact the company for a replacement coupon.
Kellogg also noted that they might arrange to pickup up the affected product for further evaluation.
