Who is better, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi? The two greatest living soccer players not only compete in the same league but for rival squads. As Latinos Post compares both players, let us look at what the two superstars accomplished during the 24th week of La Liga and attempt to determine who displayed better performance.

Messi: "La Pulga" showcased his usual heroics by scoring two goals in a comeback win over Granada. With the goals Messi now has 37 goals this year and is on pace to score 55 goals this season; he scored 50 in 2011-12. The goals were also Messi's 12th and 13th of the year in just 10 games.

Ronaldo: Ronaldo had a quiet game on Sunday in Madrid's 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano. He only took two shots at the net, but came up empty each time. Ronaldo remained stuck on 24 goals in 23 games; he is now on pace for 36 goals in 2012-13 after scoring 46 last season. Fortunately, he still leads Messi by in 2013.
