Michael Jackson's oldest child, Prince Michael Jackson, has a new job as an on-air correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, the show announced Monday.

Jackson, 16, just finished his first interview, in which he spoke with actors James Franco and Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi about their upcoming movie, Oz the Great and Powerful.

"I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwiter and actor," Jackson told ET's Brooke Anderson, who helped prepare him for his first interview and even did some pushups with him before the show.

Jackson said he has a special relationship with the Oz story because his father played the Scarecrow in Sidney Lumet's 1978 film The Wiz: The Super Soul Musical Wonderful Wizard of Oz, says ET.

On Monday's show, Jackson told Brooke Anderson that his dream interviewee would be Peter Jackson. "I love his movies, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and King Kong. I just love the way he shoots [and how] he brings things and depicts it back to life. I used to study his movies with my dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together."

Michael Jackson was famously protective of his children when they were younger, covering their faces when they went out in public so they couldn't be recognized. Now, however, both Prince Michael and his younger sister, Paris, seem ready to step into the public eye.

Paris Jackson, 14, has been sharing pictures of herself on Twitter, posing with her guitar and showing off a new edgy rocker look, reports Radar Online.

Paris, Prince, and their brother Blanket currently live with their guardians, Katherine and TJ Jackson.
