The 2013 All Star Weekend is on and the NBA stars from around the country are ready to exhibit their great skills and talents at the Toyota Center in downtown Houston.

Everyone is looking forward to the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest this Saturday night an event that is slated to take place between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. EST on TNT.

For the second occasion, the dunk contest will be determined by fans casting their votes via four ways including SMS text messaging (Text the player's last name to 38657 (DUNKS) ), through Twitter (Tweet #SpriteSlam with the player's last name ) , through the NBA mobile app (Vote via the official NBA All-Star App (Available on iTunes, Google Play and at https://www.nba.com/allstarapp/), and by logging on to NBA.com from any computer or mobile device.

The rules for the contest are found in this link.

The dunkers tonight will battle each other during the first round and the top performers will ensure the championship round between one Eastern Conference player and one Western Conference player.

The participants this year are:

Western Conference - Utah Jazz' Jeremy Evans (the defending champion), Clippers' Eric Bledsoe and Nugget's Kenneth Faried.

Eastern Conference - Pacers' Gerald Green, Raptors' Terrence Ross and Knicks' James White of the Knicks in the opening round.

White claims that his five pre-selected dunks will all net him perfect scores.

In addition to his win in Las Vegas, Gerald Green has also competed in the 2008 Dunk Contest.

Ross got quite the boost in social media from the Raptors, so he could be a big favorite in the finals on that same push alone.

Bledsoe may have the underdog factor heading into the competition. He will try to follow Nate Robinson's trend of the shortest participant winning.

The live streaming of the contest will be provided by TNT Overtime and could be found by clicking on this link (free).
