The top-ranked Indiana Hoosiers host the Purdue Boilermakers in the second of two games this season between the Indiana teams at 2 p.m. EST on ESPN in a Big Ten Basketball contest.

Indiana is the best team in the country for the second different run this season, and survived a loss to unranked Illinois to retain the crown. The Hoosiers are 10-2 against Big Ten opponents and 22-3 overall. The club is second in the nation in offense (82.9 points per game) and fourth in field goal percentage (.500).

Cody Zeller leads the squad in both points (16.5) and rebounds (8.2) per game. Kevin Ferrell is tops in assists per game (4.3). Victor Oladipo is the leading shooter from the floor (.644) and the three-point line (.524).

Indiana beat Nebraska by 29 points on Wednesday in Bloomington. The Hoosiers had more rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, and had fewer personal fouls and turnovers than the Huskers. Christian Watford had 11 boards in the win to go with his 13 points.

Purdue has lost two games in a row and four of the last five, including losses to both ranked teams during that stretch. The Boilermakers are five games out of first in the Big Ten with a 5-7 conference record.

Terone Johnson is the team's points leader, averaging 13 per game. A.J. Hammons is the leading rebounder, notching 6.7 boards per game on average and having a team-leading .509 field goal percentage. Ronnie Johnson's 3.8 assists per game are tops on the squad as well. D.J. Byrd (.355) is the team's best three-point shooter.

The Boilermakers lost by 20 points in their previous road game at Illinois on Wednesday. Terone Johnson had 18 points and Ronnie Johnson added seven boards, but the team was outshot, out-rebounded and had fewer assists than the Fighting Illini.

The Hoosiers won the previous game between the teams, a 97-60 road win on January 30. Purdue trailed by 20 points at the half. Zeller (19), Watford and Oladipo each had at least 17 points and Zeller added 11 rebounds in the big win. Hammons dropped 30 points on 10-of-14 shooting and had five blocks in the losing effort.
