Tiger Woods committed to three more tournaments this season on Tuesday. He said via his personal website that he will compete in the Match Play Championship next week in Arizona, the Honda Classic in Florida and the Cadillac Championship at Doral in consecutive weeks.

Woods has won the Cadillac Championship six times previously, the most recent victory coming in 2007, which was the third year in a row he left the champ.

The World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship starts on February 20 in Marana Arizona. It will feature the top four-ranked golfers on the PGA Tour in Woods, Luke Donald, recent champ Brandt Snedeker and Rory McIlroy. McIlroy is making just his second appearance of the season in this tournament, with only an Abu Dhabi cut-missing performance after two rounds.

The Honda tournament had McIlroy as its defending champ, so Woods may have an opportunity to go mano-a-mano with the golfer he squares off against in the recent Nike commercial. Woods was only two strokes behind McIlroy in the same tournament in 2012.

Tiger has won the Cadillac tourney at Doral six times, most recently in 2007 and also won the Ford Championships there in both 2005 and 2006.

Woods' last appearance came when he won the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in January. It is the only PGA Tour tournament he has played in this year. Woods notched a 14-under 274, winning at the La Jolla golf course for the eighth time in his career.

Tiger's only other golf tournament in 2013 thus far has been a two-round cameo at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. Woods missed the cut by one stroke after failing to take a one stroke penalty into consideration on his scorecard after a drop.

Tiger is first all-time on the money list, earning the top honor in eight separate seasons. He last led all PGA golfers in earnings in 2009, which was the year his split with Elin Nordegren started. Woods has earned more than $102 million in his career.
