In last week's episode of 'Grey's Anatomy,' entitled "The Face of Change," Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jackson (Jesse Jackson) battled it out to become the next "face" of Seattle Grace- Mercy West Hospital while working together on a transgender teen. The two hospital hotshots also joined forces when April (Sarah Drew) calls in with an emergency case that they secretly have to treat.

Alex and Jackson enlists the help of their two interns, Wilson (Camilla Luddington) and Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton), along with Christina (Sandra Oh), Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and even Derek (Patrick Dempsey). While the team works on the little boy in secret, Derek not only manages to take out the much needed medication but distracts Alana Cahill (guest star Constance Zimmer) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) from finding out what is going on.

Meanwhile, Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) do some recon work as they try to scope out what it's like to work in a hospital run by Pegasus (the company that is hoping to buy the hospital). What they discover makes Richard reconsider early retirement and makes Callie think that she and the other doctors who were rewarded by the settlement need to step up.

In the end, April and the group manage to save the little boy although they come close to getting reprimanded by Alana and Owen. While the hospital continues to tumble towards financial ruin, Callie proposes that she, Meredith, Derek, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Christina buy the hospital themselves.

This week's episode, entitled "Hard Bargain," promises to be just as emotional as last week's, as Owen is forced to forego an expensive surgery that could save the life of a child due to the hospital's financial problems. ABC teases that Alex and Jo will continue to work together as they work towards saving the life of a baby. To make things a tad bit awkward, April asks Jackson for some dating advice.

The upcoming episode promo also shows a shocking scene where Derek gives Owen his resignation "effective immediately."

SPOILER: TV Line reports that the season finale of 'Grey's,' which is set for this May, will most likely NOT include a major catastrophe like

'Grey's Anatomy' S9E15, "Hard Bargain" airs on Thursday, February 14 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
