The Kansas Jayhawks will try to snap a three-game losing streak against the Kansas State Wildcats tonight at 9 pm EST on ESPN in the second of two match-ups between the teams this season. The ESPN3 live stream is available only in Alaska and Hawaii in the U.S.

The Jayhawks radio broadcast is streaming live at this link.  The Kansas State Wildcats broadcast can be found here.

The Jayhawks had a nation-best 18 game winning streak snapped on February 2 against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and haven't won since, dropping three games in a row. The defeats versus the Cowboys, at the TCU Horned Frogs and at the Oklahoma Sooners all came with the Jayhawks' opponent being unranked. TCU and Oklahoma play tonight at 7 pm EST. We have an article with the live stream, TV information and a preview here.

Kansas is in second place in the Big 12, one game behind the Wildcats at 7-3. Kansas State's two in-conference losses have come in consecutive games, as they lost to Iowa State 73-67 just after the previous four-point loss against Kansas.

The Jayhawks are led by Ben McLemore in scoring at 16.3 points per game. Jeff Withey has 8.2 boards per game to lead the team, and Elijah Johnson's 4.7 assists per game are tops as well. Releford has a team-best .599 field goal percentage, while also leading behind the three-point line (.439).

Kansas' last game was a 72-66 sputtering against the Sooners on Saturday. The Jayhawks actually outshot the Sooners in overall field goal percentage (.463 versus .448), but were out-rebounded, had fewer assists and also stole the ball less frequently than the home team. McLemore led the team in points (15), Releford had nine rebounds and Johnson added four assists.

K-State has won four games in a row since the two-game hiccup, and is aiming for its second win of the season against a top-ten team. The Wildcats beat the then-eighth Florida Gators 67-61 on December 22.

Rodney McGruder has a team-high 15 points per game, Thomas Gipson has a 5.5 rebounds per game average and Angel Rodriguez' 4.7 assists per game is tops on the team. Jordan Henriquez has a .517 shooting percentage to pace the team and Martavious Irving (.423) is tops in three-point shooting.

The Wildcats avenged their previous loss to the Iowa State Cyclones with a 79-70 win the last time out on Saturday evening. McGruder (22) and Rodriguez (20) each had 20-plus points in the victory. Kansas State had more rebounds, assists, blocks and steals than the Cyclones, committed fewer turnovers and had better shooting percentages both overall and for three-pointers. Highlights of the game are right here.

Then-#3 Kansas eked past then-#11 Kansas State 59-55 on January 22 in Manhattan, with Shane Southwell leading all scorers (19 points). Southwell also had seven rebounds and Rodriguez added eight assists. On the winning side, Releford tabbed 12 points while missing just one shot from the floor (a three-pointer) and Withey had ten boards with 11 points.
