Although not listed on the official website, the MacBook Pro with Retina Display is on sale.

Currently, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display with 2.5GHz and a dual-core Intel Core i5 Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz with 128GB flash storage is priced at $1,699.00. The plus side is free shipping.

However, potential customers can save up to $200 when purchasing on MacConnection.

The price tag for the same 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is $1,499.00 and can be shipped on the same day as purchased.

The Retina 13-inch MacBook Pro, which made its debut on Oct. 23 along with the iPad Mini and iPad 4, features a 2,560x1,600 pixel resolution, is 0.75-inch thin, and has a battery life of up to seven hours and 30 days of standby time. Two Thunderbolt ports, two USB 3.0 ports, FaceTime HD camera, Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and the OS X Mountain Lion with iLife round out the rest of its offerings.

It is not the first time that a site outside of Apple.com issued a discounted price tag. As Latinos Post noted back in December, MacMail offered a sale for both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display. At the time, Apple had the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display for $1,999.00 and the 15-inch variant for $2,199.00 but MacMail's special price was $1,899.97 and $2,078.96, respectively.

Best Buy also posted a sale on the MacBook Pro with Retina Display during the Black Friday shopping weekend, giving users a $70 discount from the original price tag listed on Apple.com.
