Look at the colors! The lines! It's so beautiful! Just kidding. This photo, a Flickr photo found by Pocket-lint, may not look like groundbreaking photography, but it actually could be. That's because this may be the first public image taken by the new HTC flagship phone, known as the HTC One (formerly referred to as the M7), which is the first device to feature an "Ultrapixel" camera.

The camera that took the Flickr image was identified as the HTC One and the image was taken on February 8. If the camera identification is correct, this could confirm that the HTC M7 is actually going to be unveiled as the HTC One, a rumor that we've recently reported.

The unveiling, no matter what the name, is going to happen soon, on February 19 in London and New York City.

The release date for the HTC One is expected to be sometime in March, perhaps as early as March 8 in some places, as reportedly HTC is trying to produce 4 to 5 million units for spring 2013. This should be confirmed soon as we get closer to the HTC event.

We recently reported a leak that said the HTC One's camera wasn't going to use a 13-megapixel sensor, but rather three 4.3-megapixel sensors which layer together (thus, the "Ultrapixels") to produce a high quality image that adds up to 13 ultrapixels, with the layering effect of the three sensors helping boost image quality.

The other rumored hardware in the HTC One looks to be very high-end. It's expected to ship with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. It will have a 4.7-inch HD touchscreen display, if rumors are correct, with 32GB storage. The phone is expected to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
