Some of the biggest names in basketball made some of the best plays of this past week in NBA action.

On Tuesday, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 29 points as he powered Portland all the way through the game, and iced it with a to game-winning, buzzer-beating shot against Dallas in a 106-104 win.

Wednesday featured some great action from some of the NBA's finest. First, Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points to set a New York Knicks franchise record for consecutive 20-points-plus games as he helped the Knicks defeat the Orlando Magic 113-97 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Ricky Rubio also provided yet another highlight moment with a brilliant assist to Andrei Kirilenko, but Blake Griffin's 26 points were too much for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they fell to the LA Clippers 96-90.

On Thursday, though his Memphis Grizzlies fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 106-89, Memphis center Marc Gasol had a pretty solid game with 16 points, though it wasn't enough to counter All-Star OKC forward Kevin Durant's 27 points.

And on Saturday, Jeremy Lin put in 9 points with eight assist while Patrick Patterson and Chandler Parsons scored 24 points a piece as they led the Houston Rockets to a dominating 109-95 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Latinos Post breaks down the Top Five Plays of the Week:

5. Jeremy Lin Gets the Steal and the Basket

One of those came here at the 59 second mark, where he steals the ball and returns it for an easy two points.

4. Carmelo Anthony Breaks Knicks’ Franchise Record

Anthony has been playing on a torrid pace all season, and on Wednesday, the NBA All-Star starting forward for the East scored 20 points to set a team-record with his 30th straight 20-point game, while Chandler and Stoudemire combined for 35 points on 17-of-18 shooting from the field in leading the Knicks to a 113-97 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.

3. Ricky Rubio Goes Through the Legs

Everyone knows the Spanish sensation’s got the moves, and he proved it again on Wednesday. Though his Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the LA Clippers 96-90, Rubio looks like he’s starting to get the feel for the court, as displayed by this slick pass through his legs to find Andrei Kirilenko for the easy assist.

2. LaMarcus Aldridge Makes the Buzzer Beater for Portland

With a core like LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard at the helm for Portland, they could be a force to contend with for years to come in the West. On Tuesday, Aldridge, who scored 29 points, continued to show why when he hit the game-winning, buzzer-beating shot against Dallas in a 106-104 win.

1. Marc Gasol’s Acrobatic “And-1” Shot

On Thursday, Gasol was effective with 16 points, though it wasn't enough as his Memphis Grizzlies fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 106-89. However, Gasol continued to show why he's one of the most skilled centers in the league with this savvy trick shot-which drew the foul for the three-point play.
