If the thrill of seeing the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray wasn't enough for you, wait until you set your sights on the Stingray with its top off.

Car and Driver reports that Chevrolet has confirmed the rumor that the convertible version of the seventh generation Corvette will make its debut at the 2013 Geneva auto show.

Rumors of the topless C7 started to circulate after Autoweek reported that the Vette convertible would make its Swiss debut in early March.

Questionable photos of the convertible were leaked on the Internet in early January, sparking speculation into whether they were authentic or rendered depictions of the topless GM hot rod.

Chevrolet said that the pictures were "not" of the convertible version of the Stingray, after they caught wind of the alleged leak.

Road & Track blogger Alex Nunez commented on the pics and said that they appeared to be authentic.

"The Auto Insider has posted what appear to be the real-deal PR images of the roadster, and if they're fake, then they're some of the best renderings ever," he posted on the site.

But now the mystery will be solved as the convertible C7 is slated to makes its premiere in Geneva early next month.

The 2014 Corvette fixed-top model was unveiled at the Detroit Auto show in a worldwide live stream, turning heads and making mouths water as the global car community watched its debut all at the same time.

The topless roadster is expected to go on sale as a 2014 model and could appear in showrooms before the end of the year.
