"Stand Up Guys" will open nationwide on Feb. 1. The film stars Academy Award winners Al Pacino and Alan Arkin and Academy Award nominee Christopher Walken.

The film is directed by veteran director Fisher Stevens and tells the story of a pair of aging con men who try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah."Stand Up Guys" was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best song and the film premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival to mixed results. The Associated Press stated that "There's enough humor and tenderness in Fisher Stevens' film to make it a passably enjoyable experience for the most part."

However Newark Star-Ledger was not enthusiastic and stated that "Really, what do the actors have to work with here? The movie isn't funny enough to allow them to burlesque their images, or serious enough to give them a way to reflect upon them."

Alan Arkin is currently nominated for the Oscar for his supporting role in "Argo." Al Pacino last starred in "Jack and Jill" and "The Son of No One." Christopher Walken had a busy 2012 and starred in three acclaimed films including "Dark Horse," "A Late Quartet" and "Seven Psychopaths."

"Stand Up Guys" will open in 450 theaters and will be distributed by Lionsgate.
