With half of the season over of 'Grey's Anatomy,' fans are dying to find out what remains in store for their favorite doctors at Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital. Show creator Shonda Rhimes recently opened up to TV Line about 'Grey's' couples and drama in the second half of season nine.

Latinos Post has also rounded up the season's juiciest spoilers, including guest stars and inside scoop on future episodes.

'Grey's' wouldn't be 'Grey's' without its lead character Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and the roller coaster that is her life. In an interview with TV Line, Rhimes assured viewers that Meredith and her husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) have "a lovely storyline planned" that's "going to be very beautiful" for the two.

Not to be left behind, Mer's best friend Christina (Sandra Oh) and her now ex-husband Owen (Kevin McKidd) may be riding on post-divorce bliss but things will eventually settle down, and get really serious. Rhimes teased that the two will eventually have to talk about their baby issue. "They're going to have to really talk talk about it and figure it out and struggle to figure it out if they can be in love despite the fact that he wants kids and she doesn't," Rhimes said.

Mer and Christina won't be the only ones dealing with their love lives. After having failed relationship after failed relationship, Alex (Justin Chambers) may have finally found his match in new intern Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington). Rhimes told TV Line that the two will build upon their friendship before moving on to anything else.

Fans can also expect some guest stars for the rest of the season, including former 'Scrubs' actress Sarah Chalke. TV Line confirmed that the doctor-playing actress would be making a one-episode appearance. Guest star Constance Zimmer ('Entourage') will also return for at least two more episodes as Alanna Cahil.

The following couple of episodes will find the hospital spiraling closer to complete financial ruin, forcing Derek to search for a solution and Owen to make some difficult decisions. April (Sarah Drew) will turn to an unlikely person, Jackson (Jesse Williams) for some dating advice as well.

'Grey's Anatomy' season 9 airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
