Calling all 'Boy Meets World' fans! Disney has officially picked up the pilot episode of the show's spinoff series, 'Girl Meets World,' TV Line reported on Monday. The new show will include show regulars Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga), who signed up back in November.

EW.com also reported that the search for the TV couple's daughter Riley is over. After a national casting search, 11-year-old actress Rowan Blanchard was chosen in the title role. According to TV Line, production for the highly anticipated series is scheduled to being sometime in February. Executive producer Michael Jacobs told EW, "As soon as Rowan walked into the room, I was reminded of why Ben Savage was loved as Cory Matthews. Rowan is real and accessible and I am hopeful this girl is about to meet a world that will love growing up with her as well."

The new show will be told from the point of view of young Riley, a Disney Channel rep confirmed to E! News in November. "We can confirm that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their hugely popular roles of Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, this time as a happily married couple and parents to 13-year-old Riley, from whose point of view the story is told," the rep said.

Emmy Award-winning creator/producer Michael Jacobs, who created and produced 'Boy Meets World' as well as 'My Two Dads' and 'Charles In Charge,' will be the new show's executive producer. In a blog post regarding the new show, Fishel thanked her fans and added, "I promise with the entirety of my heart that we will make GMW with the same honesty, innocence, and intelligence that you learned to expect from BMW."

Young actress Blanchard is no stranger to the acting world. The 11-year-old's previous works include "The Back-up Plan" and "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D."
