Would you kindly take a look at the BioShock: Infinite Industrial Revolution trailer. Does it tempt you to pre-order?

BioShock: Infinite for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, will be released on March 26th, but those who pre-order Infinite will be offered a content add on called Industrial Revolution. 2K Games and Irrational Games have released a trailer detailing what perks you get in the pack if you commit to buying the game before it hit shelves, reports IGN.

One might say they are trying to bribe players into pre-ordering BioShock: Infinite. The Industrial Revolution bonus pack comes with much more than perks and abilities. However, you have to earn them by playing the stand-alone bonus feature. It's a web-based puzzle game called "Industrial Revolution," and is similar to the original BioShock's hacking game.

Players must complete assembly-line puzzles by adding gears of different sizes in the right configuration. Once a puzzle is solved, the assembly-line cranks out a box of manufactured goods and asks the player whether that box should go to the Founders of the Vox Populi, which are the two warring factions in BioShock: Infinite. As you complete more puzzles, you rank up from titles like Laborer, Apprentice, all the way up to Foreman and Chief, which is the top rank you can earn after completing all 59 puzzles.

What is the "bonus" involved in this bonus content? As you complete puzzles, the game will tell you little pieces of backstory to the warring factions within the actual BioShock: Infinite game, but if you really want to know that, those snippets will undoubtedly hit the wikis as soon as the game is released.

The real advantage to this Industrial Revolution pack is that, as you rank up with the puzzle game, you'll be rewarded with real in-game perks that you'll start off with, which will make the beginning stages of the game much easier.

Unlocked Upgrades for BioShock: Infinite include:

500 Silver Eagles: A nice purse of in-game currency to purchase any items or upgrades

5 Lockpicks: Basically means you'll get instant access to 5 inaccessible areas right off the bat

Handyman Nemesis: A perk that increases your damage to menacing Handymen

Sugar Rush: A sprinting perk that takes effect after eating any snack in the game

Fleet Feet: This allows you to back-step or side-step at a the same pace as walking, which is great for evasion.

Alliance Pack: After completing all 59 puzzles, you have to pick a side: Vox Pop or Founders. When you do, you get out-of-game goodies like a Facebook Avatar and Cover Photo, and a Twitter background.
