Whether you're looking for live streaming, attempting to discover new music, or hungry for a new book to occupy down time, there's an app out there to fulfill your needs. Now, on to the software.

Youtube - Free

You never know when that craving to watch a cat play the piano will hit, so it's best to prepare for the worst and download Youtube's official app for the Nexus 7. Much like the following apps, Youtube requires no introduction, but is nonetheless a practical, and some might argue necessary, app.
