It seems that the surprises that EA Sports has lined up for NBA 2K16 are coming out one after another.

Just last week, we did report to you the coming changes that NBA2K Sports has lined up. That includes enhancements mostly tied up to making the game more realistic as one would experience in real-life basketball.

Much of those were of course attributed to improved gameplay and graphics and now we have more in-game perks that should prove to be interesting.

Through the official NBAK Twitter account, gamers will be able to use rookies, second-year players and undrafted players. Though that should cover a wide scope, this angle will most likely be tied up with the “My Career Mode” for NBA 2K.

This should prove to be interesting for players who are well into the game and are ready to take on a challenge. Just like in the real-life NBA, there will be players left out, undrafted but who can still get another chance to make it to the big league.

Should they miss out on the NBA Draft, it looks like the game will use the same NBA Summer League many may be seeing right now, a different kind of path for players who may have been overlooked.

Hence, it will be up to the player behind the controllers to help improve the undrafted player, boosting his skills through various training techniques. Apparently this could hold true for rookies and sophomore players who fail to perform in the NBA level, a reason why the NBA D-League is also being mentioned as another possible addition to NBA2K16.

With the rumored addition of the two leagues, NB2K16 should keep a lot of the hoop nuts busy. Though there is no mention of how long it would take for players to level up their players, from all indications it will take some time unless the advanced gamers come up with new cheats, tips and/or tricks to level up players faster.

Aside from that feature, another thing to watch out for NBA 2K16 is the soundtrack.

DJ Premier, DJ Khaled and DJ Mustard reportedly had a hand in the compilation of songs which are reportedly 50 in all. There is no word on what kind of music genre were in focus but word has it that the choice span from different years.

For now, the only confirmed songs for NBA 2K16 include "Blitzkrieg Bop" by The Ramones, "Represent" by Nas, and "I Want You to Know " by Zedd (feat. Selena Gomez).

NBA 2K16 is reportedly all set for a September 29 release so don’t miss it.
