If you're an Apple user, probably the only thing irking you about the new iOS 6 (other than Siri, which probably always has and will) is the new Apple Maps. Apple decided it would be a good idea to completely replace Google Maps with their own in-house navigation tool. Which would be fine, if it works.

Here's some comments from Twitter to let you know what exactly Apple Maps holds for you.

From Jason Mustian:

"'Two paths diverged in a topographical paradox.'- Robert Frost using Apple Maps"

From The Fake ESPN:

"We are still better than Apple Maps!" -Replacement Refs (referring to the concerns about replacement, inexperienced referees at the beginning of the NFL season)

News outlet CNN even reports that Apple has misplaced the Washington Monument. While it stands between the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial, Apple Maps has placed it south of its real location, near the Potomac River. It's hard to convince people to trust your directions when you have your shirt on backwards.

But Apple has an answer for the issues (just like it did for the Apple iPhone 5's scratches).

"We launched this new map service knowing that it is a major initiative, and we are just getting started with it. "We are continuously improving it, and as Maps is a Cloud-based solution, the more people use it, the better it will get," said Apple spokeswoman Trudy Miller.

But a comic from Mashable's Charlie White might have said it best: "I've a feeling we're not in Cupertino anymore!"
