Miley Cyrus is without a doubt one of the young pop stars with the most attention right now. Anything she does, whoever minimal, creates a huge reaction in the media and, as it is expected, in her fans and critics who are in the thousands around the world.

The former Disney girl has gotten the most out of the enormous attention that the media provides her as few artists have. It has gotten to the point that Priscilla Presley, the ex-wife of the legendary "King of Rock", did not hesitate a second in comparing the pop star to the late rock legend.

During her recent participation in the American TV show Entertainment Tonight, 68-year-old Priscilla Presley considered that the young star is "very talented" and said that Elvis was also criticized for his peculiar movements and his modern music when he started his career.

"I think she's a girl with a lot of talent, I really can't criticize her, because Elvis went through the same," said Priscilla, according to a report published by the Associated Press, wrote The Washington Post.

In recent weeks, Miley Cyrus said her new tour, "Bangerz Tour", would be memorable and filled with surprised. What's true is that since it began last Feb. 14 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, there has practically been no performance that hasn't been commented on, harshly criticized in the media and social networks.

Despite what Elvis' ex-wife said regarding the rock legend's hip movements and Miley's twerking not being too different, Priscilla Presley took the opportunity to say that the provocative dances and sexual image of the "Wrecking Ball" singer and other young artists might be something extreme.

"Today it's all being taken to the extreme. I don't know what to think of her, I really don't. I think that Miley needs to express herself and she's doing it this way," said Priscilla via TVNZ.
