Two people lost their lives after a shooting took place in an industrial area in Washington on Monday, local police authorities reported.

According to Reuters, an armed suspect shot another man and then killed himself at a Benjamin Moore Paint distribution center around noon on Monday, Feb. 3.

Kim Krapp, spokesman for the Vancoucer Police Department, told the media that when police officers arrived at the distribution center they found two lifeless bodies; the men are suspected to have died during a fight.

"The police officers arrived and located two individuals, both of them dead and we have no suspect so far. There is no threat to the public and no one else was injured," said Krapp.

According to ABC, Washington state police have identified the attacker as 64-year-old Robert R. Brown from Vancouver, a driver for the Benjamin Moore Paint company who shot the manager, 45-year-old Ryan E. Momeny, before entering his car and taking his own life.

Police continue to investigate the motives behind the crime and said that for the moment no further suspects are being saught.

In a press release, Benjamin Moore Paint said the company regretted the tragic deaths at the distribution facility.

"We continue to gather details on what happened, and we're working with the police while they carry out their investigation," the company added in the press release.

Located north of the Columbia River, near Portland, Vancouver is the fourth-largest city in Washington, with a population of 161,000.
