The PlayStation 4 will soon be available for fans to purchase and begin playing the wide variety of next gen games that will be coming to the console along with the many different media apps that will be available on the console on day one. Sony has announced on the PlayStation Blog three special surprises for gamers who plan on buying the device that will help users build up their media library on the console when it is launched Nov. 15.

The three surprises are vouchers for free trails and credit in some of the different media apps and service that Sony is bringing to the console. One of the most notably surprises in store for gamers is a 30 day free trial of PlayStation Plus. This will make it so PlayStation 4 owners can enjoy the benefits of the premium service such as discounts at the PlayStation Store and free game downloads of select titles. In addition, the PlayStation 4 will require users to have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, so this trial membership will be critical for those who used up their gaming budget trying to afford buying the new console.

In a similar vein to the free trial of PlayStation Plus, Sony is throwing in a free 30 trial of Music Unlimited. This will give users access to the millions of songs available on the media player and may convince gamers that the music player is worth subscribing to after their trial is over.

Finally, Sony is throwing in a $10 Sony Entertainment Network wallet card for PlayStation 4 owners. This can be redeemed at then used on the PlayStation 4 to help bring down the price of launch titles for the console such as Killzone: Shadow Fall and Call of Duty: Ghosts. In addition, many different downloadable titles will be available on the console at launch, so using this $10 card could help bring those game's prices down dramatically.

These three offers are a welcome addition to the PlayStation 4 and should be immediately taken advantage of when users begin to grab their consoles on Nov. 15. Having to pay to play online has been a bone of contention for some gamers, so the PlayStation Plus membership should help convince on the fence gamers that investing in the premium service is worth the price of admission. Throw in the other offers and this is a solid deal for future PlayStation 4 owners.
