The Nokia Lumia 1020 has launched in another country as the Finnish-based organization announced an international photography day in honor of the 41-megapixel-sensor smartphone.
The Lumia 1020 has officially launched in Brazil with the 32GB and the rare 64GB models.

The South American country priced the 32GB Lumia 1020 at R$2,399, which is approximately $ $1,108 when converted to the U.S. dollar.
According to WMPowerUser, the 64GB Lumia 1020 is priced at R$2,800, or $1,284 under the U.S. dollar. The 64GB model of the Windows Phone 8 camera phone will be exclusive to Brazilian mobile carrier Vivo.
Meanwhile, Nokia has taken the numerals of the Lumia 1020 to make Oct. 20 known as "International Mobile Photography Day."
According to Nokia, the Oct. 20 date is in recognition of the evolving digital photography revolution. Nokia noted they have provided Associated Press staff photographers the Lumia 1020 to help honor the event and contribute to the "mobile photo documentary" series depicting people around the world in unexpected moments.
In addition, a hashtag has been utilized in honor of the date with #1020MobilePhotoDay.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
