AT&T is adding a couple new tablets to its lineup, and both are LTE capable offerings from top tablet makers: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0-inch) and the ASUS MeMO Pad 10.1 (which is the first ASUS tablet for the wireless company to carry).

Both new tablets will be offered with a two-year contract price discount and AT&T's Next program, with the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 coming in at around $200 with a two-year agreement. You can save about $100 on that price on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 if you bundle it with a Galaxy S4, S4 Active or Galaxy Note 2, but that offer is expiring on September 30 (right before the Galaxy Note 3 hits AT&T stores).

According to PhoneArena, AT&T is also offering the ASUS MeMo Pad FHD LTE 10.1 (a mouthful of a tablet name for sure) - the first ASUS tablet offered by AT&T - at a cost of about $300.00 with a two-year agreement. Off contract, the slate comes in at $100 more.

The AT&T ASUS MeMO Pad FHD LTE 10.1 comes with 16GB of internal storage, along with ASUS cloud services for more storage options. The main camera on the slab is a 5-megapixel shooter and it comes with a modest 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera as well. What's not modest about the ASUS MeMo Pad is the 6,760 mAh battery, which should be sufficient to power the slab, which has a Full HD display at 1080 x 1920p, for a while. The LTE-capable ASUS MeMO Pad is powered by a quad core Qualcomm S4 Pro system on a chip.

As for the Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0), it's one of many different Galaxy devices Samsung makes, so it may be hard to keep track of what it offers. The Tab 3 7-inch one of the low-end devices of Samsung tablet spectrum offering a 1.6GHz dual core Qualcomm system on a chip with 1.5GB of RAM and a 1024 x 600p display. It has a 3-megapixel main camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing shooter, and comes with 16GB of internal storage. AT&T Locker cloud services offers expansion on that. The device comes with a 4,000 mAh battery (which is okay for a 7-inch screen) and comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean pre-installed.

You can pick up either device in stores right now.
