T-Mobile HTC One Release Date: Nationwide Release Coming Early June

It looks like T-Mobile will be getting HTC's flagship smartphone, the HTC One, very soon. A source at TmoNews has told them that it's coming next Wednesday, June 5, to T-Mobile stores nationwide, along with another top smartphone that is joining the network.

As previously reported here, rumor has it that T-Mobile is launching the Blackberry Q10 on its network June 5, but HTC's top phone is reportedly going to be launched nationwide along side it on the same day. HTC has been having a little trouble recently, and the original release of the HTC One on T-Mobile made it available only in a relatively few select stores. Next Wednesday, it should be hitting the shelves everywhere.

You can already buy the HTC One on T-Mobile's website for $99 down and payments of $20 per month for two years, but actually getting to play with the smartphone - to "try before you buy" - is essential, if T-Mobile wants people to make such a heftily-priced commitment (remember, with T-Mobile, they don't subsidize the phones, so if you leave the carrier, the unpaid part of the phone is on you). As we previously reported, according to @evleaks - a HTC tipster that is usually reliable - the HTC One looks like it will be hitting Verizon's shelves by July. The HTC One is currently available for purchase on AT&T and Sprint, and at T-Mobile online.

Unveiled in New York and London on February 19, 2013, the HTC One is the Taiwanese company's flagship phone for this year. It comes with a 4.7-inch high definition display with 1080p resolution and an industry-leading pixel density of 468 pixels per inch.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, with either 32 or 64GB of storage and 2GB RAM. Its main camera is a unique 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" image sensor (which HTC claims takes better pictures than higher resolution cameras on other phones), which is capable of 1080HD video and slow motion capture. Its front facing camera shoots at2.1 megapixels. All of this is encased in an aluminum unibody frame, which is also unique to the HTC One.
