Hopefully, the new Pope will like it.

Leave it to Facebook to take the advice of their fans seriously...after a year. The social network announced that its Timeline feature will get a new makeover with a fresh new layout designed to make sharing your favorites a lot easier.

"We heard from you that the current Timeline layout is sometimes hard to read," said Facebook in an announcement. "Starting today, all posts are on the right side of your timeline, with photos, music and other recent activity on the left."

Facebook users will find it easier to share more information on their About page including listing their favorite TV shows, books, music, and movies in an all new customizable layout. The new Timeline will also feature a navigation bar that lets you switch from viewing someone's About page to viewing sections about Friends, Places, Photos or adding a third-party app to your Timeline.

Organization and customization are the items of the day in regards to the revamped Timeline feature. Users will also have the option to add content from such apps as Etsy, Netflix, Instagram, Foursquare, Pinterest and others and place it directly on to their Timeline.

The new Timeline also features drop down menus that help you integrate your About page with that of your friends. For instance, if a friend has seen a movie or read a book that you're interested in, not only can you "Like" it, but you can add it to your About page with the label of "Read" or "Want to Read".

Facebook said that the new Timeline would "continue rolling this out in the coming weeks."

Are you looking forward to the new Timeline?
