President Barack Obama's second inauguration falls on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and BET is planning on marking the occasion.

BET coverage will begin Sat., Jan. 19 with the "Rosa Parks Story" at 1:30 p.m. EST followed by Alex Haley's "Queen" from 3:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST.

Michelle Obama will start Sunday's coverage with "BET News: Michelle Obama on a Mission" at 10:30 a.m. EST.

The mini-series "King" will then follow up at 11 a.m. EST then the critically acclaimed mini-series "Roots."

Finally, Monday's inauguration will be led by journalists Ed Gordon and Cynne Simpson from the Newseum in Washington D.C.

Assisting in the inauguration coverage will be Duarte Geraldino , Melissa Knowles, Keli Goff, and Dorian Warren. Monday's festivities will include interviews from Civil Rights Activist Myrlie Evers-Williams, National African American Vote Director for Obama for America Stefanie Brown James , Commander in Chic author Mikki Taylor , USA Today Columnist & Professor of Journalism & Chair at Morgan State University DeWayne Wickham and Martin Luther King, Jr.'s daughter Elder Bernice A. King.
