In preparations for Brazil's 2014 World Cup, Mexico's national football squad played against Wales in an international exhibition match.

The Mexican team was too strong of a team for Wales who remained pretty inoffensive throughout a game won by the 'Aztecas' 2 to 0.

Both goals were scored by Mexico's Aldo de Nigris who scored in the 43rd and 88th minute withh de Nigris not needing either of his foot to score since the first goal was scored with a header and the second with his chest.

The game was played in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium before a crowd of 30,000 people.

Jesús Aldo de Nigris is a striker who plays for Monterrey in Mexico's Primera Division (1st division).

The game was a significant game since it signaled preparations for the soon to begin qualifiers towards in the 2014 World Cup.

The first round of matches for the qualifiers begins on June 1, 2012 with Ghana playing against Lesotho and Egypt against Mozambique.

The U.S.'s first match will take place on June 8, 2012 against Antigua & Barbuda in Tampa. Mexico's first game will also take place on the same date against Guyana and will be held in Mexico City.

The U.S. will be playing against Jamaica, Guatemala, and Antigua & Barbuda, all who make up Group A.

As for Mexico's group, Group B, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guyana will all be disputing the top two positions.
