It's been notoriously hard to find, but the Google-branded LG Nexus 4 might finally be showing its face in public after a long hiatus. Reports are coming in that Nexus 4 stock is currently making its way to T-Mobile stores around the nation.

T-Mobile fansite TMONews happened to stumble across a shipping manifesto detailing Nexus 4 quantities being shipped out to T-Mobile stores. While the good news is that it seems that some Nexus 4 units will be making their way to consumers' hands, the bad news is that it looks like there will be very scant quantities. Given the amount of demand surrounding the Nexus 4, expect most of the handsets to sell out quickly. If you're hoping to pick one up, be sure to get there early.

T-Mobile sells the 16GB Nexus 4 for $199.99 with a contract. T-Mobile plans on eliminating all subsidies within 3-4 months. The online T-Mobile store still reads "out of stock," so there's a chance these handsets will only appear in brick-and-mortar stores.

There's still no word on when Google Play will start offering the Nexus 4 again. The Nexus 4, in both 8GB and 16GB models, sold out late last year, and hasn't been seen since on Google Play. As frustration mounted among consumers who were baffled by the lack of inventory for such a high-profile device, Google even took to blaming manufacturer LG for the supply constraints. LG is now rumored to have moved on to focusing on its next flagship device, meaning future Nexus 4 supplies may be even scarcer.

For those still interested in purchasing the Nexus 4, there is an easier way than manually checking Google Play constantly. Website n4checker.com gives an updated list of Nexus devices inventories, and will even tell you whether the Nexus 4 is available in other countries' Google Play stores.

Let us know if you have any luck snatching up a Nexus 4 from a T-Mobile store and whether it was worth the wait in the comments below.
