In less than two weeks, President Barack Obama will swear in for the second time as President of the United States during the 57th Inauguration on January 21, 2013. The details of Inauguration Day are slowly becoming public. The theme of this year's inauguration is "Faith in America's Future."

The day will begin with a morning worship service, a tradition that began during the presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt 1933. This will be followed by the procession to the Capital by the president, the vice president and their wives. According to the official website for the 57th Inauguration, "Today, the Presidential procession to the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremonies follows a firmly established protocol, based on the evolving traditions of past Inaugurations."

Vice President Joe Biden will be sworn-in first during the ceremonial swearing-in on Monday, January 21 in front of the public on the West Front of the Capitol. Because January 20-the official day for swearing-in-is on a Sunday, the president and vice president will be sworn in twice. The official swearing in, on Sunday, January 20, for Vice President Biden will occur at the Naval Observatory and will be administered by Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor using the Biden Family Bible.

President Barack Obama will be sworn next during the ceremonial swearing-in on the West Front of the Capitol. President Obama will also be sworn-in officially on Sunday at noon in a ceremony led by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, the website from the Presidential Inaugural Committee states. During his official swearing-in, Obama will place his hand on the Robinson Family Bible, but will use two other Bibles, one owned by President Lincoln and the other by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the ceremonial and public swearing in.

Obama will then give his Inaugural Address and will be followed by performances by singers Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor. Myrlie Evers-William will deliver the invocation speech, while Cuban-American poet Richard Blanco will recite the Inaugural Poem.

An Inaugural Luncheon will follow the swearing-in ceremonies, which includes President Obama, Vice President Biden, their families and close to 200 other guest. According to the Presidential Inaugural Committee website, music will be provided by the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music. The day will continue on with the Inaugural Parade, which will include a number of performances. A full list of participating performers can be view here.
