During the last episode before the mid-season break, 'Once Upon a Time' fans witnessed the reunion of one fairytale family and the beginnings of a reunion of another, slightly more scary fairytale mother and daughter duo. After what seems like weeks back in Fairytale Land, Snow White/Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and her daughter Emma (Jennifer Morrison) are reunited with Snow's husband and Emma's father Prince Charming/David (Josh Dallas) and Emma's young son Henry (Jared S. Gilmore).

However, Emma and Snow weren't the only ones who made their way back to Storybrooke during the mid-season finale, entitled "Queen of Hearts". Unbeknownst to them, Regina/Evil Queen's (Lana Parrilla) mother Cora (Barbara Hershey) and Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) also traveled back to the sleepy town using the rejuvenated magical bean.

Snow and Emma's Fairytale Land companions Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger) and Mulan (Jamie Chung) set off on their own adventure to seek Aurora's true love Prince Phillip's (Julian Morris) lost spirit.

In the upcoming mid-season opener, entitled "The Cricket Game," Storybrooke will celebrate the return of Emma and Snow, only to be hit by the tragic death of one of the fairytale characters. ABC teased that Regina will be accused, but that she'll have Emma on her side. Meanwhile, in a flashback to their life back in Fairytale Land, Snow and Charming capture the Evil Queen and begin to plan her public execution to rid their land of her evil.

A preview for the episode gives fans a glimpse into what happens in Storybrooke after Emma and Snow return. Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) will seek a way to leave the tiny New England town in search of his long-lost son. It also appears Regina is none to happy to see Emma and her parents at her home.

'Once Upon A Time,' season 2 episode 10, "The Cricket Game," airs on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
