There is a new set of "Captain America: Civil War" rumors going around. Unfortunately, the rumors are not going to make some fans happy.

The Youtube show, "The Hashtag Show," stated that Steve Rogers or Captain America himself may actually die.

"During the film, Steve will make a deal with the government, stating that they are not to hunt down the people that allied with him in the Civil War. After Steve surrenders and is taken into custody he is killed," the show revealed. The show claims that their information came from a "source close to production."

"The Hashtag Show" also reported that "Captain America: Civil War" might end with not one, but several funeral scenes. More than one character will die and be given their funeral scene, so to speak. With regard who will die as well, Chris Evans might remain safe since his working contract showed that he still has working obligations with Marvel for years.

Earlier, co-director of "Civil War," Joe Russo actually revealed that some characters will die in an event held in China earlier this month. His interview can be seen on this YouTube video.

He stated that even though it can be hard to killed off characters, they owe it to the fans, especially those comic readers, to give a realistic and thrilling story.

"The stakes of both Civil War and the Avengers: Infinity War movies are gonna be very high, and there will be a price to pay for the characters. And that's the whole point of cumulative storytelling. We're going to go on emotional journeys with these characters and we've got a lot invested in the emotion. We have the responsibility to be mindful of how these people feel about the characters and, at the same time, we also have a responsibility to carry through on the storytelling," he said.

Russo then added that as movie makers, they cannot just deliver what people want and then sacrifice a good story.

"As filmmakers, we believe in stakes. You can't have good storytelling without strong stakes. So, there will be a price to pay. There will be a price to pay in Civil War. There will be characters who suffer in that movie and will come out and never be the same again. And in Avengers: Infinity War the stakes will be raised to a whole new level and people should expect to be shocked when they see the movies," he added.

Captain America: Civil War will be released on May 6, 2016.
